Job Title:

Electrical Supervisor Division : Electrical Reports to:Head of Electrical Division / Senior Electrical Project Manager Position Supervisory

Position Summary:

The Electrical Supervisor is responsible for overseeing a team of electrical engineers and designers in the production of high-quality electrical design drawings and calculations for building systems.This role ensures that projects are completed on time, within budget, and in compliance with all applicable codes and standards. The supervisor provides technical guidance, coordinates with other disciplines, and supports project managers in successful project delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

Supervise, mentor, and assign work to a team of electrical engineers and designers. Review and approve electrical design deliverables, including power distribution, lighting, grounding, and single-line diagrams. Conduct QA/QC checks on drawings and specifications produced by the team. Perform and review complex electrical calculations (load, short-circuit, coordination, arc flash). Resolve technical issues and provide solutions during design and construction phases. Coordinate electrical design requirements with Mechanical, Plumbing, and Structural disciplines. Assist in the development of project schedules, budgets, and resource plans. Support senior management in training and developing junior staff.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering. Professional Engineer (PE) license strongly preferred. 8+ years of experience in electrical design for building systems. At least 2-3 years of experience in a supervisory or team lead capacity. Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, and electrical design software (e.g., SKM, ETAP). In-depth knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC) and other relevant standards.
