We are seeking a skilled and experienced Electrical Supervisor to lead our electrical maintenance team in a dynamic manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership qualities and a comprehensive understanding of electrical systems, including high and low voltage applications. This role is crucial for ensuring the reliability and efficiency of our facilities through effective management of maintenance activities.
Responsibilities
Supervise and coordinate the activities of the electrical maintenance team, ensuring adherence to safety standards and operational procedures.
Oversee the installation, repair, and maintenance of electrical systems, including programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and HVAC systems.
Utilize Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) to track work orders, manage inventory, and schedule preventive maintenance tasks.
Conduct regular inspections of electrical equipment and facilities to identify potential issues and implement corrective actions.
Provide training and guidance to team members on electrical schematics, troubleshooting techniques, and the use of diagnostic tools such as ohmmeters.
Collaborate with project management teams to plan and execute electrical projects efficiently while minimizing downtime.
Maintain documentation related to maintenance activities, including reports on repairs, inspections, and compliance with regulatory standards.
Experience
Proven supervisory experience in an industrial maintenance environment with a focus on electrical systems.
Strong knowledge of electrical principles, high voltage systems, low voltage applications, and mechanical knowledge related to facilities management.
Familiarity with HVAC systems and their integration into overall facility operations.
Experience with project management methodologies to effectively lead initiatives from conception through completion.
Proficiency in English for effective communication within the team and across departments.
