Carry out routine, preventive, and breakdown maintenance of electrical systems, machines, and panels.
Maintain motors, drives, lighting systems, earthing, transformers, and control panels.
Check, diagnose, and repair faults in equipment like MCCs, VFDs, PLCs, and HT/LT panels.
Install new machines or relocate electrical connections as per layout changes or project requirements.
Perform wiring and cabling for machines, distribution boards, and power sockets.
Ensure proper insulation, earthing, and load balancing during installation.
Identify and rectify faults in electrical circuits, equipment, or automation systems promptly.
Use appropriate tools like multimeters, megger testers, clamp meters, etc., for fault diagnosis.
Replace defective components like fuses, relays, contactors, switches, etc.
Follow all electrical safety procedures as per company and statutory norms.
Ensure lock-out/tag-out (LOTO) procedures are followed during repairs.
Comply with Factory Act, Electrical Inspector norms, and ISO/IMS safety protocols.
Maintain daily maintenance logs and breakdown records.
Report recurring issues and suggest improvements to reduce downtime.
Support electrical supervisors during audits and inspections.
Provide electrical support in all plant shifts (rotational shifts if applicable).
Attend emergency breakdowns and support production team during urgent maintenance.
Strong knowledge of industrial electrical systems (3-phase, HT/LT, control circuits)
Ability to read electrical drawings and schematics
Hands-on with tools and safety equipment
Good troubleshooting and problem-solving ability
Awareness of energy-saving and EHS practices
