Role: Senior Electrical Site Supervisor (UG Cable Engineer)

Experience needed: 10- 15 years

Department: Open plots/ Farm Plots /Villa Constructions & Infrastructure (up-to 400kv)

Education: B.Tech/ Diploma - Civil, Electrical

Job description :

Proven experience of AC & DC U.G cable network, design, installation, testing and commissioning from 1.1kV through 400kV Electrical / Power engineering overview & background in MV/ LV Electrical Distribution networks. Good knowledge in the field of LV & MV Switchgears, Power & Distribution Transformers, Power converters (UPS/VFD) Knowledge of HT& LT Panels including MCC, PCC, CSP, Feeder pillars. Experience in substation engineering: Layouts & sections, cable engineering (cable sizing & schedules, cable routing and supporting technologies, termination kits, control cable termination), Lighting design, Lightning protection, Installation of Switchgears and Transformers, MV & LV busducts. Knowledge of switch gear components such as VCB's, MCCB's, MCB's, OC, UV relays. Experience of cable design, installation methods, surveying, evaluation of cable routes, and design of protection systems. Experience in laying, end terminations, jointing of different sizes of UG cable at different voltage levels. Experience in Installation and maintenance of street lighting systems including circuits, poles, arms, load balancing and luminaries. Knowledge of civil works related to underground system such as trench excavation, Conduit laying, Panel Pedestals, Transformer foundations. Experienced in Grounding / Earthing of Electrical switchgear. Work with project management team to develop project front-end documentation, including project execution plans, estimates, and schedules Complete electrical documentation knowledge, including SLD's, BOQ's,Panel layouts, cable route plan, schematics, wiring diagrams, technical specifications, and scope of work. Preparing specifications for purchases of electrical equipment and materials. Network with external contractors and negotiate to attain the best deals and rates for assignments. Acquire necessary equipment and monitor stocks to timely handle inadequacies

Key Skills :

Ability to work anywhere in INDIA Basic understanding of purchasing, accounting and construction practices and maintenance workflows. Strong organization, interpersonal, oral and written communication skills Speak English, Telugu & Hindi proficiently
