: Electrical Site Engineer

The

Electrical Site Engineer

will supervise, execute, and manage electrical works at

residential, commercial

, and

industrial

project sites. The role includes coordinating with contractors, workers, suppliers, and clients to ensure safe, timely, and quality installation as per project drawings, standards, and regulations.

Key Responsibilities

Manage and supervise all electrical installation activities at residential, commercial, and industrial project sites. Read and interpret electrical drawings, layouts, SLDs, and ensure work is executed as per design and standards. Coordinate with electricians, helpers, contractors, and other engineering teams for smooth workflow. Plan and monitor daily site activities, ensuring timely progress and quality of work. Prepare material requirements, verify material quality, and ensure timely availability at the site. Implement safety practices and ensure all workers follow safety guidelines and PPE requirements. Conduct quality checks for wiring, conduiting, DB dressing, earthing, cable laying, and other electrical installations. Perform testing and commissioning of electrical systems, including continuity, insulation resistance, and load testing. Update red-mark drawings, prepare reports, and maintain documentation for project progress and handover. Attend site meetings with clients, architects, consultants, and coordinate to resolve technical issues.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Electrical Engineering. Minimum

2-5 years

experience in residential, commercial, or industrial projects. Strong knowledge of electrical standards (IS/IEC). Ability to read drawings and handle site execution independently. Good communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills. Experience with MS Office, AutoCAD (optional but preferred).
