Poornima MEP Contracting Pvt. Ltd. is looking for a

dedicated and result-oriented Electrical Site Engineer

to handle

overhead distribution line works

, including LT ABC, HT ABC, and Covered Conductor stringing projects. The candidate will be responsible for

site execution, labour management, productivity, and reporting

, ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently, and as per specifications.

Key Responsibilities

Site Execution & Supervision

Supervise and execute

LT ABC, HT ABC, and Covered Conductor stringing works

Coordinate activities such as: Pole erection Stringing, sagging, and clipping Insulator fixing and accessories installation Earthing and related line works Ensure work is carried out as per approved drawings, standards, and safety norms
Labour & Team Management

Manage and lead site labour teams effectively Ensure

high productivity and proper utilization of manpower

Coordinate with team leaders and resolve site-level issues Hindi-speaking ability is an added advantage, as most labours are Hindi-speaking
Productivity & Resource Control

Monitor daily work output and improve efficiency Ensure correct utilization of: Labour Tools & tackles PPE and site resources Identify delays, constraints, or risks and inform management proactively
Reporting & Documentation

Prepare and submit: Daily Progress Reports (DPR) Weekly progress summaries Monthly site reports Report any deviations, scope changes, or additional requirements to management in a timely manner
Safety & Quality

Ensure all safety practices are followed at site Conduct toolbox talks and ensure PPE compliance Maintain quality standards during execution
Eligibility Criteria

Qualification

Diploma or Degree in Electrical Engineering Freshers are welcome (training support will be provided) Experienced candidates will have added advantage
Skills & Requirements

Ability to manage site teams independently

Willingness to travel and work anywhere in Kerala

Immediate joining candidates preferred

Hindi speaking - added advantage

4-wheeler driving license - added advantage

Basic knowledge of MS Excel / reporting formats preferred Strong communication and coordination skills
