Job Description

A Service Technician in electrical panel board manufacturing is responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical control panels, as well as troubleshooting and diagnosing problems. They ensure compliance with safety regulations, interpret electrical schematics, and may provide technical support and training to customers. Key Roles and Responsibilities:

Installation:

Installing and assembling electrical control panels and related equipment according to blueprints and specifications.

Maintenance and Repair:

Performing routine maintenance, inspections, and repairs to ensure optimal panel performance.

Troubleshooting:

Diagnosing and repairing faults in electrical panels and related systems.

Technical Support:

Providing technical support and training to clients and colleagues.

Documentation:

Maintaining accurate records of work performed, including installation processes and maintenance activities.

Safety Compliance:

Ensuring compliance with electrical codes, regulations, and industry standards.

Collaboration:

Collaborating with engineers, technicians, and other professionals on projects.

Communication:

Communicating effectively with clients, colleagues, and supervisors about technical issues and solutions.

Staying Current:

Keeping up-to-date with industry developments and new technologies.

Customer Service:

Providing excellent customer service and building positive relationships.

Preventive Maintenance:

Scheduling and performing preventive maintenance activities during off-peak hours.
