Job Description

Ensure compliance with

national and international electrical safety codes

(e.g., NEC, IEC, NFPA 70E, OSHA). Perform

electrical risk assessments

, safety audits, and gap analyses. Oversee the implementation of

lockout/tagout (LOTO)

procedures and ensure proper electrical isolation practices. Review and approve

electrical designs

and installations for safety compliance. Investigate

electrical incidents, near misses, and arc flash events

; identify root causes and corrective actions. Conduct

training programs

for staff on electrical safety, arc flash awareness, and safe work practices. Coordinate with project and maintenance teams to ensure safe execution of electrical work. Ensure proper maintenance and testing of protective devices such as circuit breakers, relays, and grounding systems. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of

electrical safety innovations, regulations, and industry best practices

. Provide guidance during commissioning, shutdowns, or emergency operations involving electrical equipment. Support HAZOP, HIRA, and other process safety analyses related to electrical systems.
