: Electrical Quantity Surveyor

Role Summary:

The Electrical Quantity Surveyor will be responsible for managing cost, quantity, and commercial aspects of electrical works across projects, ensuring accurate estimation, cost control, and effective vendor coordination.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare detailed

cost estimations

for electrical works at tender and execution stages. Carry out

rate analysis

based on drawings, specifications, and market rates. Prepare, review, and manage

Bills of Quantities (BOQs)

for electrical scope. Perform

reconciliation

of BOQs with actual site consumption and drawings. Handle overall

costing

and assist in budget preparation and finalization. Conduct regular

cost monitoring

to ensure adherence to approved budgets. Coordinate with site, design, and procurement teams for quantity and cost inputs. Manage

vendor negotiations

for rates, variations, and final accounts. Prepare cost reports, variation statements, and MIS for management review.

Qualifications & Experience:

Degree/Diploma in Electrical Engineering. Relevant experience as an Electrical Quantity Surveyor in construction/MEP projects.

Skills & Competencies:

Strong knowledge of electrical BOQs, rate analysis, and costing. Proficiency in MS Excel and quantity surveying tools.

Good communication skills

for effective coordination with internal teams and vendors. Strong analytical, negotiation, and reporting abilities.
