To Obtain annual or specific needs of all Sectors within C&C Segment
To seek for and validate suppliers together with SQA
To negotiate commercial conditions
To close the terms of the contractual relationship with suppliers: FWA, TSA, Appendices, etc.
To decide and transmit how to split manufacturing needs among suppliers.
To support the Plants in conflict resolution
To support R&D and Engineering in conflict resolution.
To coordinate with Interlocutors in the Sectors the cost information (real and objective) of the materials
and fulfillment of needs
THE COMMODITY LEADER WILL HAVE TO INTERFACE WITH COMPANY STAFF AS PER BELLOW:
Commodity buyers must ensure that they have and maintain contact with those interested parties in the
C&C segment, both at a technical and commercial level.
Although the information must flow through the Cost manager, it is essential that this Role has direct
contact with those decision makers at a technical level since are our technical colleagues who describe
the needs of materials that we finally buy, as well as validate materials and alternates.
The Commodity buyer must personally know their interfaces, both external and internal, without limiting
themselves to meetings by video conference or telephone. It is essential to create the necessary
personal links with the interested parties in order to listen, understand and be listened to with the greatest
possible empathy.
The degree of work outside the office is high and must be appropriate to achieve the stated objectives.
B.E., EEE., or MBA or other postgrads related to Degree
