We are seeking a skilled Electrical Design Engineer with hands-on expertise in AutoCAD 2D and a minimum of 2 years of professional experience. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, drafting, and developing electrical layouts and schematics that meet industry standards and project requirements.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare electrical drawings using AutoCAD 2D, including layouts, schematics, and wiring diagrams.
Design electrical systems for residential, commercial, or industrial projects in compliance with codes and standards.
Collaborate with project teams to ensure accurate integration of electrical designs with mechanical and civil disciplines.
Conduct load calculations, cable sizing, and equipment selection.
Review and update designs based on client feedback and engineering best practices.
Support site teams with technical drawings and documentation during installation and commissioning.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
Minimum 2 years of experience in electrical design and drafting.
Proficiency in AutoCAD 2D; knowledge of AutoCAD Electrical is a plus.
Strong understanding of electrical codes, standards, and safety practices.
Excellent communication skills and ability to work in cross-functional teams.
Preferred Skills
Experience with lighting and power distribution design.
Knowledge of PLCs, control panels, and instrumentation.
Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
