experienced Electrical Maintenance Engineer/Technician with 3-4 years of hands-on expertise in maintaining electrical systems within a Mechanical manufacturing environment.
The candidate will be responsible for ensuring smooth operation of electrical equipment, minimizing downtime, and supporting continuous production efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance of electrical systems, machinery, and equipment.
- Troubleshoot electrical issues in production lines and resolve breakdowns quickly.
- Inspect, test, and maintain motors, drives, PLCs, control panels, and wiring systems.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and electrical codes.
- Maintain documentation of maintenance activities, breakdown reports, and spare parts usage.
- Coordinate with production teams to schedule maintenance without disrupting operations.
- Support installation and commissioning of new machines and electrical systems.
- Implement energy-saving initiatives and monitor electrical consumption.
- Assist in root cause analysis and corrective actions for recurring electrical problems.
Required Skills & Competencies
- Strong knowledge of industrial electrical systems, PLCs, VFDs, and automation controls.
- Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and technical manuals.
- Hands-on experience with troubleshooting and repairing electrical equipment.
