We are seeking a qualified Electrical Maintenance Engineer with a valid Electrical Supervisor/Contractor License to oversee, maintain, and troubleshoot electrical systems and equipment within the facility. The candidate will be responsible for ensuring all electrical operations comply with safety regulations and company standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform preventive and corrective maintenance of electrical systems, machinery, and equipment.
Inspect, troubleshoot, and repair electrical faults in panels, motors, drives, and production equipment.
Ensure compliance with statutory requirements and safety regulations related to electrical installations.
Maintain proper documentation of maintenance activities, breakdowns, and equipment history.
Supervise and guide technicians/electricians during maintenance and project work.
Support installation, testing, and commissioning of new electrical equipment.
Coordinate with other departments to minimize downtime and ensure smooth operations.
Conduct periodic energy audits and suggest improvements for power efficiency.
Ensure proper usage and upkeep of electrical tools and instruments.
Qualifications & Requirements:
Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Electrical Engineering from a recognized institution.
Valid Electrical License (Supervisor or Contractor License as per state regulations) -- mandatory.
Experience: 3-7 years of relevant experience in electrical maintenance, preferably in a manufacturing/industrial environment.
Sound knowledge of electrical safety standards, HT/LT systems, and control circuits.
Hands-on experience with PLC panels, VFDs, motors, and transformers will be an added advantage.
Good communication, documentation, and team-handling skills.
