Job Description

The Electrical Maintenance Technician is responsible for the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of electrical systems and equipment. This role ensures that all electrical components and machinery are functioning efficiently and safely in compliance with company standards and local regulations.

Perform routine preventive maintenance on electrical systems and equipment. Troubleshoot electrical issues using appropriate testing devices and diagnostic tools. Repair or replace wiring, equipment, or fixtures using hand tools and power tools. Ensure compliance with local electrical codes, safety regulations, and company policies. Install new electrical systems, including conduit, wiring, panels, motors, and controls. Maintain detailed maintenance records and prepare reports on equipment status. Collaborate with other departments to ensure timely resolution of technical issues. Monitor electrical systems and suggest improvements for efficiency or safety. Respond quickly to emergency breakdowns and prioritize work to minimize downtime.
