To ensure smooth operation, preventive maintenance, and timely repair of kitchen equipment, utilities, and infrastructure to support uninterrupted base kitchen operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Carry out preventive and breakdown maintenance of bakery and kitchen equipment (ovens, mixers, chillers, freezers, proofers, grinders, etc.).
Ensure proper functioning of utilities such as electrical systems, plumbing, water supply, DG sets, HVAC, and compressors.
Attend and resolve equipment breakdowns with minimum downtime.
Maintain daily maintenance logs, checklists, and service records.
Coordinate with external vendors for AMC, repairs, and spare parts procurement.
Ensure compliance with safety standards and maintenance SOPs.
Support installation and commissioning of new equipment.
Monitor energy consumption and suggest cost-saving improvements.
Ensure proper upkeep of the facility, including civil, electrical, and mechanical infrastructure.
Follow food safety and hygiene practices while working in production areas.
Qualifications & Experience:
ITI / Diploma in Electrical, Mechanical, or Refrigeration & Air Conditioning.
1-4 years of experience in maintenance within food manufacturing, bakery, FMCG, or hospitality industry.
Knowledge of bakery equipment maintenance is an added advantage.
