Job Description

Responsible for carrying out electrical maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of all plant equipment.

Candidates with EOT Crane electrical maintenance experience will be given added advantage.

Ensure safe and reliable operation of machines with minimum downtime.

Key Responsibilities1. Electrical Maintenance & Troubleshooting

Perform electrical troubleshooting and repairs on motors, panels, control circuits, VFDs, and power distribution systems. Handle emergency breakdowns and ensure quick restoration of equipment. Assist in installation and commissioning of electrical systems.

2. Added Advantage - EOT Crane Maintenance

Candidates with experience in the following will have a strong advantage:

Electrical repair and troubleshooting of

EOT cranes

, hoists, festoon systems, pendant controls, and radio remotes. Maintenance of

limit switches, overload relays, brakes, motors, and contactors

used in cranes. Routine inspection, preventive maintenance, and safety checks for crane systems. Ensuring proper functioning of crane safety devices (emergency stop, hooter, limit switches).

3. Preventive Maintenance

Carry out scheduled PM activities for all machines and electrical installations. Maintain PM checklists, service reports, and equipment history records. Identify potential faults and take corrective actions to avoid failures.

4. Safety Compliance

Ensure safe operation of high-voltage and low-voltage systems. Support safety audits and equipment inspections.

5. Documentation & Reporting

Record breakdowns, repaired parts, and work completed. Maintain stock of electrical consumables and request spares when needed. Assist in daily maintenance reporting and shift handover
