Perform regular checks and preventative maintenance on HVAC systems (heating, ventilation, and air conditioning), electrical systems, plumbing, and other essential equipment throughout the hotel, including guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces.
Troubleshoot and repair equipment malfunctions, such as faulty lighting fixtures, leaking faucets, clogged drains, and malfunctioning appliances.
Conduct general building maintenance tasks like painting, carpentry, drywall repair, and furniture repair.
Preventive Maintenance Program:
Develop and implement a preventive maintenance program to proactively address potential issues, minimize disruptions, and prolong the lifespan of hotel assets.
Schedule and track maintenance tasks efficiently using a CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) or similar system.
Emergency Response:
Be available for emergency calls and respond quickly to urgent situations like power outages, water leaks, or equipment breakdowns.
Follow established emergency protocols and procedures to ensure the safety and well-being of guests and staff.
Safety and Compliance:
Ensure all maintenance work complies with relevant health, safety, and building codes and regulations.
Conduct regular safety inspections and promptly address any hazards or risks.
Manage and maintain fire safety systems, emergency lighting, and security equipment.
Guest Service:
Respond promptly and professionally to guest requests for maintenance assistance, such as adjusting room temperatures or fixing electronic devices.
Communicate clearly and courteously with guests and staff regarding maintenance issues and estimated repair times.
Teamwork and Collaboration:
Work collaboratively with other hotel departments, including housekeeping, front desk, and management, to ensure smooth operations and guest satisfaction.
Communicate maintenance needs and project updates effectively to relevant stakeholders.
Budgeting and Cost Control:
Contribute to managing maintenance budgets, tracking expenses, and identifying cost-effective solutions for repairs and replacements.
Optimize resource utilization and implement energy-saving measures to reduce utility costs
