Job Description

Key Responsibilities



1. Preventive & Predictive Maintenance (Primary Focus):



Develop, optimize, and execute comprehensive Preventive Maintenance (PM) schedules for sensitive electronic manufacturing equipment (e.g.,

SMT Pick-and-Place machines, Reflow Ovens, Wave Soldering machines, Test and Measurement Equipment

,

Compressor ,Generator

etc.

Implement predictive maintenance techniques (vibration analysis, thermal imaging, motor current analysis) to anticipate failures.

Maintain meticulous records of all maintenance activities, parts usage, and equipment history within a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).

2. Breakdown Response & Troubleshooting:



Provide rapid, expert-level

troubleshooting and repair

of mechanical, electrical, electronic, and pneumatic systems on production equipment.

Minimize Mean Time To Repair (MTTR) through systematic problem-solving and root cause analysis.

3. System & Facility Support:



Maintain and support critical facility systems that directly impact production:

o

Electro-Static Discharge (ESD)

protection system

4. Engineering & Continuous Improvement:



Lead or participate in

equipment upgrades,and new machine installations

.

Design and fabricate simple fixtures, tools, or modifications to improve equipment reliability, safety, or performance e.g. jigs.

Analyze equipment performance data (OEE - Overall Equipment Effectiveness) to identify and drive projects that improve MTBF (Mean Time Between Failures).

Collaborate with Process and Quality Engineers to resolve equipment-related quality issues (e.g., soldering defects, component misplacement, dimensional inaccuracies).

5. Technical & Safety Leadership:



Create and update detailed maintenance procedures, work instructions, and safety protocols .

Manage critical spare parts inventory, identifying key components for strategic stock.

Ensure all work complies with company safety policies, ISO standards, and other regulatory requirements.

Qualifications & Skills



Essential:



Diploma /I.T.I in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related field.

Minimum of 2-5 years

of hands-on maintenance engineering experience

within an electronics manufacturing or high-precision assembly environment

.

Strong proficiency in reading and interpreting

electrical schematics, pneumatic diagrams, and mechanical drawings

.

Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and root-cause analysis skills (e.g., 5 Whys)

Highly Desirable:



Experience with

Surface Mount Technology (SMT)

equipment is a significant advantage.

Knowledge of

Lean Manufacturing

and

Total Productive Maintenance (TPM)

principles.

Understanding of

ISO 9001

quality management standards as they relate to equipment calibration and maintenance.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹22,000.00 per month
