Job Description

Electrical Maintenance Engineer in the sheet metal industry is responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems and production equipment, such as CNC press brakes, shears, punch presses, and robotic systems. The primary goal is to ensure minimal downtime and maintain a safe, efficient working environment in compliance with safety regulations
Preventive & Breakdown Maintenance: Conduct routine inspections and perform preventive maintenance (PPM) on all electrical equipment and systems to avoid recurrence of failures. Promptly respond to and troubleshoot sudden electrical failures or breakdowns on the production floor.
Troubleshooting & Repair: Diagnose and repair electrical and mechanical issues in production machinery, which may include motors, sensors, drives, PLCs (Programmable Logic Controllers), EOT cranes, and control panels.
Installation & Upgrades: Assist in the installation and commissioning of new electrical equipment and machinery. Implement upgrades or modifications to existing systems to improve efficiency and reliability.
Documentation & Compliance: Maintain detailed records, log sheets, and check sheets of all maintenance activities, repairs, and installations. Ensure all work complies with electrical codes, safety regulations (EHS), and quality management systems (QMS)
