Junior Electrical Engineer - Injection Molding (Plastic Industry)

We are looking for a

Junior Electrical Engineer

with a strong understanding of electrical systems and hands-on experience or knowledge in the

injection molding process

within the

plastics manufacturing industry

. The candidate will assist in maintaining, troubleshooting, and improving the electrical systems of injection molding machines and related auxiliary equipment to ensure efficient production and minimal downtime.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist in the

installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting

of electrical components on injection molding machines (e.g., PLCs, HMIs, sensors, relays, drives). Monitor and analyze the

electrical performance

of molding equipment and recommend improvements. Support senior engineers in executing

preventive and predictive maintenance

schedules. Maintain documentation related to electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and machine maintenance logs. Coordinate with the production and maintenance teams to ensure minimal downtime during repairs or maintenance. Ensure compliance with

safety standards and electrical codes

. Assist in the

modification or upgrading

of electrical systems to improve machine efficiency. Work with automation systems and robotic arms, if applicable. Participate in root cause analysis (RCA) for machine failures and suggest corrective actions. Maintain stock of critical electrical spares and tools.

Requirements:

Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Electrical Engineering

or equivalent. 2-4 years of experience in the

plastic injection molding industry

preferred.
