We are looking for an experienced

Electrical & Instrumentation Engineer

to support semiconductor facility systems involving hazardous gases, chemicals, automation, and critical utilities. The role includes

E&I design, automation, installation, commissioning, troubleshooting, and maintenance

of facility systems such as gas cabinets, gas distribution lines, chemical distribution units, scrubbers, HVAC controls, and VFD/MCC panels.

Key Responsibilities

installation and commissioning of electrical systems including VFDs, MCC panels, LV distribution, motor controls, and power cables Develop and review E&I designs including schematics, wiring diagrams, interlock logic, control panels, SLDs, BOQs, cable schedules, and I/O lists. / Select, specify, and calibrate instruments for hazardous gas piping, toxic/flammable gas monitoring, chemical dosing systems, scrubbers, abatement units, and HVAC control systems. Configure and integrate sensors, transmitters, analyzers, safety interlocks, PLC/SCADA systems, and industrial communication protocols (Modbus/Profibus). Support installation and commissioning of VMB/VMP panels, chemical mixing and distribution units, and hazardous gas/chemical lines as per

NFPA, SEMI, and OSHA

safety standards Ensure proper functioning of leak detection systems (LDS), toxic/flammable gas sensors, exhaust systems, alarms, and emergency shutdown mechanisms. Provide hands-on support for electrical systems including VFDs, MCC panels, LV distribution, motor controls, and control wiring. Lead site activities including vendor coordination, FAT/SAT, testing, troubleshooting, documentation, and overall project execution in hazardous gas/chemical environments. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, OEMs, and contractors to ensure safe, timely, and compliant execution of all works.

Skills & Competencies

Strong understanding of instrumentation, automation, safety interlocks, and gas/chemical monitoring. Experience with PLC/SCADA systems and industrial communication networks. Knowledge of hazardous area classification and relevant safety standards. Ability to read P&IDs, control logic diagrams, electrical drawings, and facility layouts. Excellent troubleshooting and coordination skills.

Qualifications

B.E./B.Tech

in Electrical, Instrumentation, or E&I Engineering.
