Oversee the installation, operation, and maintenance of all electrical systems to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
Conduct routine inspections and audits to ensure proper functioning and compliance with safety standards.
Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve electrical faults in a timely manner to minimize downtime.
Plan, prepare, and implement preventive maintenance schedules for electrical equipment and systems.
Coordinate with contractors, consultants, vendors, and internal project teams for execution of electrical works.
Monitor energy consumption and implement effective energy?saving and efficiency improvement measures.
Ensure compliance with applicable electrical safety norms, statutory regulations, and legal requirements.
Supervise electrical technicians, allocate daily tasks, and monitor productivity and workmanship.
Maintain accurate records, logs, work reports, and material inventory related to electrical activities.
Prepare BOQs, support vendor finalization, and assist in technical and commercial evaluations.
Contribute to electrical system design and review, including preparation and verification of drawings.
Develop, review, and manage AutoCAD drawings, layouts, and electrical schematics.
Skills Required
Strong technical knowledge of electrical systems, equipment, and installations.
Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings, single?line diagrams (SLDs), and technical manuals.
Proficiency in AutoCAD for electrical drawings and documentation.
Good leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate teams.
Strong problem?solving, analytical, and decision?making abilities.
Sound knowledge of electrical safety protocols and statutory requirements.
Basic computer proficiency, including MS Office and reporting tools.
Responsible, proactive, and detail?oriented approach to work.
Good communication and coordination skills to work effectively with cross?functional teams.
Ability to work under pressure, manage multiple priorities, and meet project deadlines.
Experience
Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in electrical maintenance, operations, or project supervision.
Exposure to industrial, commercial, residential, layout, or MEP projects is preferred.
Proven hands?on experience with HT/LT systems, switchgear, transformers, DG sets, UPS systems, and electrical panels.
Educational Qualification
Diploma or B.E./B.Tech in Electrical Engineering.
Additional certifications related to electrical systems, safety, maintenance, or statutory compliance will be an added advantage.
