We are looking for a dedicated and technically sound Engineer to oversee electrical and HVAC infrastructure for high-uptime environments such as exam centers or similar setups. The role requires proactive maintenance, on-ground coordination, and strong troubleshooting capabilities to ensure uninterrupted operations during critical exam hours.
Key Responsibilities:
Electrical Infrastructure Readiness:
Ensure stable power supply through optimal load distribution and circuit management.
Oversee maintenance of power backup systems: DG sets, UPS units, and inverters.
Supervise earthing, wiring, and surge protection installations.
Conduct pre-event audits of electrical panels, DBs, and safety circuits.
HVAC & Climate Control:
Ensure smooth functioning of all AC systems (split, cassette, or centralized).
Maintain room temperature and air quality per operational standards.
Monitor humidity to ensure comfort and protect sensitive equipment.
Preventive Maintenance & Monitoring:
Plan and execute preventive maintenance schedules for electrical and HVAC systems.
Track DG fuel levels, UPS battery health, refrigerant levels, and air filter condition.
Maintain detailed logbooks on equipment health, load status, and daily checks.
Exam Day Operations:
Remain on-site or on-call to manage real-time power or HVAC issues.
Oversee smooth power source switchover (Mains DG).
Coordinate with onsite technicians for rapid fault resolution.
Safety & Compliance:
Ensure all systems meet local and national electrical safety standards.
Implement fire safety practices for electrical infrastructure.
Maintain records for audits, insurance purposes, and client requirements.
Vendor & Team Coordination:
Supervise outsourced technical manpower (electricians, HVAC technicians).
Coordinate with external vendors for support during peak operational hours.
Maintain escalation processes for critical system failures.
