Job Summary:
We are looking for an experienced Electrical Hardware Design Engineer with strong skills in EPLAN and SCADA systems. The role involves designing and developing electrical control systems, preparing schematics and wiring diagrams, and ensuring integration with industrial automation or process control systems.
Key Responsibilities:
Design electrical control panels and schematics using EPLAN Electric P8.
Develop and configure SCADA systems for real-time monitoring and control.
Generate complete electrical documentation: circuit diagrams, terminal lists, BOMs, cable schedules, etc.
Interface with PLCs, HMIs, sensors, and actuators for hardware/software integration.
Ensure adherence to IEC standards, safety norms, and customer specifications.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including mechanical, automation, and commissioning teams.
Support testing, commissioning, and troubleshooting at the workshop or client site.
Provide input for panel layout, cable routing, and component selection.
Maintain and update electrical drawings during and after project execution.
Conduct FAT/SAT and assist in project handover to operations or clients.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in electrical / Electronics / Instrumentation Engineering.
5-7 years of experience in electrical design with EPLAN.
Proven experience in SCADA systems like WinCC, Wonderware, or InduSoft.
Good understanding of industrial automation systems and protocols (e.g., Modbus, Profibus, Ethernet/IP).
Knowledge of electrical standards (IEC, UL, NFPA 70).
Hands-on experience with field wiring, panel design, and instrumentation integration.
Preferred Skills:
Experience with PLC programming (Siemens, Allen Bradley, Mitsubishi, etc.).
Exposure to control systems in automotive, process, or manufacturing industries.
Familiarity with P&ID interpretation and control philosophy documents.
Knowledge of safety systems and standards (SIL, ISO 13849).
Soft Skills:
Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
Effective communication and documentation skills.
Team-oriented with ability to handle project deadlines independently.
Willingness to travel for commissioning or customer support.
