We are looking for a detail-oriented and technically sound
Electrical Estimation Engineer
to support our pre-construction and tendering activities.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare detailed electrical BOQs, cost estimates, and rate analysis based on drawings, specifications, and site conditions.
Study tender documents, RFPs, and drawings to understand scope and identify gaps, risks, and assumptions.
Coordinate with design, execution, and procurement teams for technical clarifications and cost inputs.
Obtain vendor quotations and conduct techno-commercial comparisons.
Prepare budget estimates, value engineering proposals, and cost optimization suggestions.
Support bid submissions including pricing, clarifications, and technical annexures.
Assist in variation costing, change order pricing, and post-award budget control support.
Maintain estimation templates, databases, and historical cost records.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Diploma / BE / BTech in Electrical Engineering.
2+ years of experience in electrical estimation for commercial / corporate / interior / MEP projects.
Strong understanding of:
Power distribution, lighting systems, earthing, UPS, DG, ELV systems
Cable sizing, DB schedules, load calculations, voltage drop
Proficient in AutoCAD, Excel (advanced), and estimation software (if any).
Ability to read and interpret drawings, specifications, and BOQs accurately.
Strong numerical, analytical, and documentation skills.
Good communication and coordination skills with internal teams and vendors.
Preferred Attributes
Experience in corporate office fit-outs and commercial interiors.
Familiarity with local authority norms (BEST, BMC, Fire, etc.).
Exposure to value engineering and cost optimization.
Organized, deadline-driven, and detail-focused mindset.
