Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

Cost Estimation:

Analyzing project specifications, drawings, and other documentation to prepare detailed cost estimates for electrical systems, including materials, labor, and equipment.

Bill of Materials (BOM) and Labor Estimates:

Developing comprehensive BOMs and labor estimates for electrical projects, ensuring accuracy and completeness.

Estimation Software and Tools:

Utilizing estimation software and tools to create, manage, and update cost estimates throughout the project lifecycle.

Cost Analysis:

Evaluating the cost of materials, labor, equipment, and other project-related expenses to identify potential cost savings and ensure competitive bidding.

Project Coordination:

Collaborating with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to gather project requirements, coordinate with vendors and subcontractors, and ensure accurate cost estimation.

Documentation and Reporting:

Maintaining detailed records of estimates, including assumptions, methodologies, and supporting documentation, and preparing comprehensive reports for stakeholders.

Risk Analysis:

Identifying potential project risks and assessing their impact on costs and timelines, contributing to the overall risk management strategy.

Staying Updated:

Keeping abreast of industry trends, best practices, and technological advancements in electrical engineering and estimation to enhance estimation skills and knowledge.

Bid Preparation:

Assisting in the preparation of project proposals and bid documents, ensuring they are accurate, competitive, and aligned with project requirements.

Pay: Up to ?35,000.00 per month
