Study and analyze electrical schematics, SLDs and technical drawings to define the project scope.
Obtain and evaluate price quotes for all electrical components from suppliers.
Liaise with clients to address estimate clarifications and provide technical expertise during contract negotiations.
Determine manufacturing, assembly, wiring, logistics and testing man-hours and costs.
Identify budget risks and develop cost saving solutions (Value Engineering).
Provide technical and cost clarification during client negotiation.
Maintain records of all estimation data, submitted offers and revisions and support project team during order execution phase for any estimation related clarifications.
Update project estimation logs and tender tracking sheets.
Qualification:
Diploma/B.E/B.Tech in Electrical Engineering.
1-4year experience in electrical panel or switchgear estimation.
Key Skills Required:
Deep understanding of electrical panels (PCC, MCC, APFC, AMF and Distribution Boards)
Must be able to read electrical schematics and understand panel building standards (e.g.: IEC/IS)
Proficient in AutoCAD.
Expertise in utilizing ERP systems to streamline the estimation-to-order workflow and enhance quotation accuracy.
Good communication and negotiation skills.
