Operate, monitor, and maintain all equipment and utilities (HVAC, AHU, compressors, water systems, etc.) as per SOPs.
Ensure preventive maintenance, calibration, and breakdown maintenance are carried out timely.
Maintain logbooks, records, and reports for all equipment and utilities.
Participate in equipment installation, qualification (IQ/OQ/PQ), and validation activities.
Support new equipment installation, commissioning, and validation.
Coordinate with vendors and contractors for project execution and maintenance activities.
Ensure energy efficiency and cost-effective operation of plant utilities.
Prepare and maintain engineering-related documentation as per GMP and regulatory standards.
Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and statutory norms.
Participate in internal and external audits; address engineering-related observations.
Education:
B.E. / B.Tech / Diploma in Electrical, Instrumentation, or Chemical Engineering.
Experience: 3 to 5 years of experience in engineering/maintenance in a pharmaceutical or regulated industry.
Knowledge Required:
cGMP, WHO, USFDA, MHRA guidelines
Equipment qualification and validation
HVAC systems, water systems (PW/WFI), and utility operations
Documentation and audit handling
