AJ Architects is seeking a qualified Electrical Engineer with a minimum of 2 years of experience,
including mandatory GCC work experience
, to handle electrical design, coordination, and site execution support for residential and commercial building projects..
Key Responsibilities
Design and develop electrical systems including
power distribution, lighting, earthing, lightning protection, and ELV systems
Prepare electrical drawings, layouts, load calculations, BOQs, and technical specifications
Coordinate with architects, mechanical engineers, and structural teams for integrated project delivery
Supervise electrical works at site and ensure compliance with approved drawings and specifications
Conduct inspections, testing, and commissioning of electrical systems
Ensure adherence to relevant
IS codes, safety standards, and local regulations
Assist in material selection, vendor coordination, and cost control
Identify and resolve design and site-related electrical issues
Requirements & Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree / Diploma in
Electrical Engineering
Minimum
2+ years of experience
in the Gulf region
in building services or construction projects
Strong knowledge of
HT/LT systems, lighting design, power distribution, and ELV systems
Proficiency in
AutoCAD
Good understanding of construction practices and site coordination
Preferred Skills
Experience with architectural or MEP consulting firms
Knowledge of local authority approvals and electrical standards
Basic knowledge of estimation and project documentation
