Your key responsibilities

Electrical designer for MEP Services AutoCAD / Revit / MagiCAD) with output in dwg Drawing production Model production

Qualifications


Education:

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent from recognized universities in countries such as India, the Philippines, China, Pakistan, Indonesia, Vietnam, etc.

Professional Experience:

Minimum 5 years of experience in electrical design and planning for buildings - including offices, residential buildings, industrial facilities, or public environments.

Software Skills:


Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, Dialux/Relux, Solibri and documentation in Microsoft Office or similar environments.

Regulations & Standards:


Basic understanding of international standards (e.g., IEC, NEC). Willingness and ability to quickly learn Swedish regulations (such as ELSAK-FS, BBR, AMA EL).

Language:


English - good proficiency in both spoken and written form is required. Swedish is not mandatory at the time of employment, but willingness to learn technical terms in Swedish is highly desirable.


Merits:

Previous experience with international projects or working with Nordic companies. Certifications such as PMP, Certified Electrical Engineer, or experience in electrical inspections. Knowledge of Nordic standards or experience working in Nordic markets. Ability to adapt to new work cultures and technical practices. Experience working according to BIM standards and coordination in 3D models.

Personal Qualities:

Flexible and solution-oriented. Strong work ethic and ability to work independently. Excellent collaboration skills in a project environment. Eager to learn - especially Swedish regulations, language, and construction methods. Strong communication skills in English - both written and verbal.

As a member of a team Electrical designers at AFRY, you will have the opportunity to work on diverse and challenging projects in that will make a real impact. Through the Design Center you will collaborate with a team of highly skilled professionals in Sweden, use cutting-edge technology, and play a pivotal role in delivering innovative solutions for our clients. It is important that you are a team player that like to work in teams with different competences and that you are curious and eager to learn new things.


About the team in Sweden


In Sweden you will work with our Electrical Engineering group in the upper south. We consist of Electrical-designers ranging from junior consultants to very experienced senior consultants. We work with a wide scope of assignments ranging from the planning-stage to execution of drawings for final production. In general we work in 2-4 persons teams assigned to different projects, our engineers have a typical workload of 2-4 ongoing projects.


Typical projects are, hospitals, industrial facilities, offices, schools, stations retail and housing.
