Key Responsibilities

Design and develop

electrical systems

for power distribution, lighting, fire alarms, communication, and control systems. Prepare

single-line diagrams (SLDs), circuit layouts, panel schedules, and wiring diagrams

. Perform

load calculations, short-circuit studies, voltage drop, and cable sizing

using industry-standard software. Prepare

BOQs (Bills of Quantities), technical specifications, and tender documents

. Review and approve

shop drawings and material submittals

from contractors. Ensure all designs comply with

IEC, IEEE, NEC, NFPA

, and local electrical codes. Support site activities, including

installation supervision, testing, and commissioning

. Implement

energy-efficient and sustainable electrical solutions

where applicable. Troubleshoot and resolve electrical design and installation issues.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree

in Electrical Engineering or a related field.

2-5 years

of experience in electrical design for building services or industrial systems (depending on role seniority). Proficiency in

AutoCAD

and design software . Solid understanding of

power systems, lighting design, grounding, and control systems

. Strong knowledge of

electrical codes and safety standards

. Excellent communication, problem-solving, and project coordination skills.
