Job Opening: Electrical Engineer - Transformers

We are seeking a highly experienced and motivated

Electrical Engineer

to join our team at the transformer manufacturing unit in

Jeedimetla, Hyderabad

. This is a critical role for an individual with a strong background in transformer testing, inspections, quality assurance, and project documentation.

Responsibilities

Conduct comprehensive testing and inspection of power and distribution transformers. Perform quality checks at various stages of the transformer manufacturing process. Generate detailed test reports, inspection certificates, and other official documentation. Coordinate with internal teams and external department officials for inspections and project approvals. Ensure all products meet national and international quality and safety standards. Lead and mentor a team of junior engineers and technicians.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in

Electrical Engineering

/ Diploma in Electrical Engineering Minimum of

3+ years

of hands-on experience in a transformer manufacturing unit. Proven expertise in testing transformers (e.g., Impulse test, Temperature Rise test, Short-circuit test). Experience in attending third-party inspections and dealing with government officials. Excellent report writing and documentation skills. Strong knowledge of industry standards (IS, IEC). Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
