Job Title: Electrical Engineer - Transformer Design and Application Engineer

We are looking for a skilled and highly motivated

Electrical Engineer

with 3-5 years of experience in transformer design to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in electrical engineering, with hands-on experience in transformer design and a proven ability to work within collaborative, cross-functional teams. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to innovative projects and drive growth in the global energy industry.

Key Responsibilities:

Transformer Design:

o Develop and optimize designs for distribution and power transformers, ensuring compliance with customer specifications and international standards (IEC, ANSI, etc.).

o Perform electrical calculations for winding configurations, losses, impedance, short-circuit with stand capability, and temperature rise.

o Prepare technical datasheets and documentation for manufacturing and customer

approvals.

o Analyze and interpret customer specifications and project requirements to ensure alignment with guaranteed technical particulars.

o Prepare comprehensive design review documents, technical reports, and detailed justifications to address customer queries and ensure satisfaction.

Project Support and Application Engineering:

o Interpret and analyze customer specifications and provide technical support for tendering and order execution.

o Work closely with the engineering department to provide technical clarifications and assist in finalizing commercial offers.

o Ensure designs meet customer specification.

Cross-Department Collaboration:

o Work closely within the company, Electrical and Mechanical team, Manufacturing, to address technical aspects of electrical design.

o Ensure seamless integration of design requirements across various teams for efficient

project execution.

Technical Communication and Support:

o Engage with cross-functional teams to facilitate effective communication and alignment on project objectives.

o Actively participate in internal and external technical discussions, to represent electrical

design expertise.

o Support global design standards and research and development initiatives as needed to

drive innovation and maintain industry leadership.

Qualifications and Experience:

Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering from a recognized university.

3-5 years of experience in transformer design, testing, or application with well-known

transformer manufacturers.

Strong knowledge of transformer standards (IEC, ANSI, IEEE) and industry best practices. Proficiency in electrical design software or similar applications. Familiarity with the transformer manufacturing process and materials used (e.g., core
materials, windings, insulation).

Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. Experience with transformers for renewable energy and oil & gas applications is highly desirable.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
