To plan, execute, and maintain electrical systems and installations in compliance with project specifications, safety standards, and statutory regulations, ensuring efficient and reliable operation.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, review, and execute electrical layouts, schematics, and drawings.
- Supervise installation, testing, commissioning, and maintenance of electrical systems including LT/HT panels, transformers, cabling, earthing, and lighting systems.
- Ensure compliance with electrical codes, safety standards, and statutory regulations. - Coordinate with clients, consultants, contractors, and vendors for smooth project execution.
- Conduct inspections, testing, and troubleshooting of electrical equipment and systems. - Prepare BOQs, estimates, technical submittals, and as-built drawings.
- Monitor project progress, material usage, and manpower deployment at site.
- Ensure proper documentation, reporting, and handover of completed electrical works.
- Implement safety procedures and ensure safe working practices at site.
- Attend coordination meetings and progress review discussions.
Skills & Competencies
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, LT/HT distribution, and IS/IEC standards.
- Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and schematics.
- Hands-on experience in testing and commissioning activities.
- Good troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
- Strong coordination, communication, and reporting skills.
- Awareness of electrical safety practices and site discipline.
Qualifications :
Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering.
Experience :
2 to 5 years of relevant experience in electrical projects, contracting, or site execution.
