We are looking for an experienced Electrical Engineer with 8-10 years of experience in detailed electrical design for industrial buildings. The role involves preparation of SLDs, schematics, layouts, lighting calculations, and equipment data sheets for LV panels, transformers, AC UPS, lighting, and power systems using AutoCAD, Revit, DIALux, and BIM 360. The position requires close coordination with clients, vendors, site teams, and other engineering disciplines. Exposure to HVAC electrical systems will be an added advantage
Key Responsibilities
Prepare detailed electrical designs, SLDs, schematics, and equipment data sheets for LV, Lighting, Power
Prepare detailed electrical designs, SLDs, schematics, and equipment data sheets for LV, Lighting, and Power Panels, Transformers, and AC UPS.
Carry out lighting calculations using DIALux and prepare lighting, power, and convenience socket layouts.
Develop and review equipment layouts, power and control cable routing, earthing, and lightning protection system layouts.
Use AutoCAD, Revit, BIM 360, and Navisworks for drafting, BIM model review, and clash checking.
Review vendor technical offers, prepare technical comparison sheets, and support technical bid evaluations.
Prepare BOM/BOQ, cable sizing, current estimation, and basic electrical cost accounting.
Coordinate with clients, vendors, site teams, and other engineering disciplines.
Ensure timely submission of drawings and documents and maintain document control as per project schedule.
Support electrical coordination related to HVAC systems, where applicable.
Requirements:
Degree B.E. / B.Tech in Electrical Engineering or Equivalent.
Minimum 8 - 10 years of experience with in detail design of Electrical System related to Industrial Buildings
Knowledge of lighting calculations using DIALux &
Knowledge Proficiency in AutoCAD; working knowledge of Revit, BIM 360, and Navisworks.
