Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in electrical engineering or electrical & electronics engineering with minimum of 4 to 7 years of related experience; or master's degree with minimum 2 to 5 years of experience

Primary Responsibilities:

Responsible for performing professional electrical engineering research, design, development, modification, and testing in support of electrical systems and / or power distribution and generation Work with a multidisciplinary engineering design team: electrical, mechanical, software/firmware, technical support, productivity engineers, and suppliers, on design, modification. Creates electrical schematics and system based on requirements and creates/releases engineering drawings & bill of materials Resolves obsolescence issues related to Electrical or Electronic components Maintain and develop process checkpoints to ensure adherence to design standards & schedules and work with leadership peers to drive process improvements as necessary. Learn Products, PDR processes & DFMEA principles and Owns PDR tasks/Simple sub-system/medium complex CIP/Medium complex designs using appropriate project management tools. Outstanding analysis and proven trouble-shooting skills and ability to drive functional requirements & execute in a dynamic team environment Update stakeholders on deliverables & timelines including Global stakeholders

Mandatory skills and experience required to perform the job:

Proficient in Electrical circuit design, Power Box, electromechanical assemblies and associated troubleshooting and validation required Proficient in cable harness design, electrical module manufacturing, assembly, and testing processes. Expertise in electrical engineering CAD tools such as ORCAD, I-Deas, Zuken E3, or equivalent platforms for circuit & Interconnect design and simulation. Familiar with different design standards and compliances like - NEC, NFPA, UL 508, IEC standard, IPC 620/CID, SEMI Standard (Electrical) Experience in obsolescence management of Electrical or Electronic components Excellent communication, and presentation skills to work effectively and efficiently with diverse teams, internal and external partners

Minimum Qualifications:

+ Experience with capital equipment, control or similar (for e.g., process industries, aircraft, Robotics etc.) industry in a sub-system / module design project + Skilled in system-level electrical architecture, including IO controllers and application integration.
+ Experience in selection of components, setting up equipment for experimentation / testing in laboratory environment, setting up safe practices
+ Knowledge about Change Management Process & Control Panels
+ Experience of power distribution and/or control system design of systems
+ Good communication skills and experience of working in cross-functional teams in a matrix organization

Lam offers a variety of work location models based on the needs of each role. Our hybrid roles combine the benefits of on-site collaboration with colleagues and the flexibility to work remotely and fall into two categories - On-site Flex and Virtual Flex. 'On-site Flex' you'll work 3+ days per week on-site at a Lam or customer/supplier location, with the opportunity to work remotely for the balance of the week. 'Virtual Flex' you'll work 1-2 days per week on-site at a Lam or customer/supplier location, and remotely the rest of the time.
