Design and develop electrical systems for solar and wind energy projects, including single-line diagrams (SLDs), layouts, and cable schedules.
Conduct power system studies, load flow analysis, short-circuit calculations, and grid interconnection design.
Prepare technical specifications, BOQs, and tender documents for procurement of electrical equipment.
Review and approve drawings, data sheets, and vendor documents related to transformers, switchgear, inverters, and other electrical components.
Supervise electrical installation, testing, and commissioning activities at project sites.
Ensure compliance with relevant electrical codes, safety standards, and statutory regulations (CEA, IEC, IS, etc.).
Coordinate with internal teams, EPC contractors, consultants, and utility agencies during project execution.
Support operation and maintenance (O&M) teams with technical troubleshooting and performance improvement.
Evaluate and implement new technologies for enhanced system efficiency and reliability.
Qualifications and Experience:
Education:
B.E. / B.Tech in Electrical Engineering (M.Tech preferred).
Experience:
2-7 years of relevant experience in solar and/or wind power projects.
