Job Title: Electrical Engineer

KITCO is a multi-disciplinary Engineering, Management, and Technical consulting firm delivering end-to-end consultancy services from concept to commissioning.

Key Responsibilities

Design power distribution, lighting, emergency, and low-voltage systems. Perform load calculations and select appropriate electrical components. Ensure compliance with industry standards and building codes (NEC, IEC, etc.). Collaborate with MEP engineers, architects, and civil teams. Review and approve electrical plans, drawings, and specifications. Coordinate with contractors and vendors for project execution. Oversee installations of wiring, transformers, switchgear, and panels. Conduct inspections, testing, and troubleshooting of electrical systems. Implement energy-efficient solutions such as LED lighting and renewables. Ensure adherence to safety protocols, risk assessments, and protective measures. Prepare technical reports, compliance certifications, and as-built documentation. Liaise with authorities for necessary approvals and inspections.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field. Minimum 3 years of experience in electrical design, execution, or consultancy. Proficiency in design software (AutoCAD, Revit MEP, ETAP). Knowledge of power distribution, lighting, ELV systems (CCTV, BMS, Fire Alarm). Understanding of MEP coordination with HVAC & plumbing. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and teamwork skills. Ability to manage deadlines and work under pressure. Certifications such as LEED, PMP, or electrical licenses are a plus.
