Job Title:

Electrical Engineer - Residential Projects

Experience Required:

5-10 years (preferably in residential or township projects)

Qualification:

Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Electrical Engineering or equivalent

Objective:

To plan, execute, and oversee all electrical engineering works in residential construction projects, ensuring timely delivery, compliance with safety standards, quality benchmarks, and project specifications.

2. Key Responsibilities:Design & Planning:

Review and interpret electrical design drawings, BOQs, and technical specifications. Coordinate with consultants for finalization and approvals of electrical layouts. Plan load distribution, panel boards, DBs, wiring schematics, and circuit layouts.

Site Execution:

Supervise and monitor execution of electrical work as per approved drawings and industry standards. Ensure timely installation of conduits, wiring, switchboards, lighting systems, earthing, and panels. Coordinate with civil and plumbing teams for service alignment and trenching. Validate vendor and subcontractor works at each stage for quality and adherence.

Quality & Compliance:

Ensure compliance with IS standards, NBC norms, and local electrical regulations. Conduct routine inspections and quality checks of material and installation. Address non-conformities and implement corrective actions on-site.

Vendor & Material Management:

Coordinate with procurement team for material requirements. Inspect and verify quality of electrical materials delivered on-site. Monitor vendor and subcontractor performance and escalate issues as required.

Testing & Commissioning:

Oversee testing of electrical systems, panels, and load balancing. Coordinate with EB (Electricity Board) for service connection and load approval. Ensure successful commissioning of electrical systems and documentation.

Safety & Documentation:

Implement site safety practices for all electrical work. Maintain daily site reports, inspection records, and completion checklists. Ensure timely preparation of As-Built drawings and handover documentation.

3. Required Skills & Competencies:

Strong knowledge of LT/HT systems, cabling, earthing, DG sets, transformers, and solar (if applicable). Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Office, and electrical design software. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications. Team coordination, communication, and time management skills.

4. Qualifications & Experience:

B.E. / Diploma in Electrical Engineering. 5-10 years of experience in residential high-rise / villa construction projects. Knowledge of state electricity board regulations and safety codes.

Pay: ?400,000.00 - ?550,000.00 per year
