Position Overview
We are looking for a detail-oriented and technically strong Electrical Engineer - Office Technical to support our project engineering, documentation, tendering, and coordination activities. The ideal candidate should have experience in electrical distribution projects (LT/HT lines, 11 kV, 33 kV, substations), along with excellent drafting, billing, and communication skills.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare, update, and verify electrical drawings such as LT/HT layouts, 11 kV & 33 kV line diagrams, substation layouts, and SLDs.
Prepare BOQs, rate analysis, tender documents, and technical bid submissions.
Handle billing activities including RA bills, final bills, measurement sheets, and verify site progress with DPRs.
Review tender conditions, technical specifications, and drawings; prepare technical compliance sheets.
Coordinate with vendors for material specifications, technical clarifications, quotations, and delivery schedules.
Maintain material consumption records, support project costing, and assist during internal audits.
Assist in design-related tasks such as cable sizing, earthing calculations, load schedules, and design modifications.
Communicate with site engineers regarding progress updates, photographs, measurements, and site-related issues.
Prepare official letters, MOMs, and project documentation required by clients (e.g., MSEDCL, Railways).
Use AutoCAD, Excel, Word, email, and project management/documentation tools efficiently.
Support management in planning, scheduling, and forecasting upcoming project activities.
Skills Required
Strong proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Excel, and basic electrical design tools.
Good understanding of electrical distribution works--poles, lines, AB cable, substations, tender terminology, etc.
Ability to read, interpret, and clarify technical drawings, specifications, and client instructions.
Excellent documentation, analytical, and communication skills.
Ability to coordinate effectively with internal teams, vendors, and clients.
Qualifications
Diploma or Degree in Electrical Engineering.
Minimum 2 years of experience in similar office-technical/electrical distribution projects.
