Job Description

Substation Design & Engineering:

Develop single-line diagrams (SLDs), schematic diagrams, and general arrangement layouts for electrical substations.

Perform load flow analysis, short circuit studies, and relay coordination.

Design HV/MV/LV electrical systems, grounding, and lightning protection.

Equipment Specification & Procurement:

Prepare technical specifications for transformers, switchgear, circuit breakers, relays, CTs/PTs, and other substation equipment.

Evaluate vendor proposals and ensure compliance with design specifications.

Protection & Control Engineering:

Develop relay protection schemes and settings.

Design SCADA and automation systems for remote monitoring & control.

Regulatory Compliance & Standards:

Ensure designs meet IEC, IEEE, IS, NEMA, and other relevant standards.

Coordinate with utilities and government agencies for approvals.

Project Execution & Coordination:

Work closely with civil, mechanical, and electrical teams to ensure smooth project execution.

Provide technical support during installation, testing, and commissioning.

Conduct site visits, FAT (Factory Acceptance Tests), and SAT (Site Acceptance Tests).
