Key Responsibilities
Plan, design, and oversee electrical systems for government building projects as per CPWD specifications.
Review and interpret electrical drawings, BOQs, and tender documents.
Supervise installation, testing, and commissioning of electrical equipment (HT/LT panels, transformers, DG sets, HVAC systems, lighting, cabling, earthing, fire alarms, etc.).
Ensure compliance with
CPWD norms, IS codes, and statutory requirements
.
Coordinate with consultants, architects, contractors, and clients for smooth execution.
Prepare and verify DPRs (Daily Progress Reports), bills, and documentation.
Monitor site execution to ensure timelines, safety, and quality standards are maintained.
Handle troubleshooting and resolve site-related technical issues efficiently.
Lead and mentor site teams, ensuring effective workforce management.
Key Requirements
Education:
B.E./B.Tech/Diploma in Electrical Engineering.
Experience:
Minimum 10 years in execution and supervision of
CPWD/government building projects
.
Strong knowledge of electrical codes, CPWD procedures, and government billing practices.
Ability to work independently at any project site across India.
Excellent leadership, communication, and coordination skills.
Proficiency in MS Office, AutoCAD, and project documentation.
