Logica Engineering and Manufacturing India Pvt. Ltd., a leading Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) of high-quality power resistors, seeks a highly motivated Electrical Engineers. This role involves designing, analyzing, testing, and optimizing power resistor products, requiring strong electrical engineering fundamentals, attention to detail, and a passion for innovative Power Resistor Technology.
Key Responsibilities
Product Design & Development:
Design new power resistors, ensuring compliance with industry standards (e.g., IEC, IEEE, IS) and specifications. Create electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and layouts using CAD. Validate designs through calculations and simulations for performance, thermal, and electrical parameters.
Testing & Validation:
Develop and execute comprehensive electrical, thermal, mechanical, and environmental test plans. Analyze test data, identify failure root causes, propose corrective actions, and prepare detailed reports.
Research & Innovation:
Monitor advancements in power resistor technology, materials, and manufacturing. Contribute to R&D for product performance, efficiency, and cost improvement.
Quality & Compliance:
Ensure designs and products meet quality standards and regulatory requirements. Participate in FMEA and quality improvement processes.
Technical Support & Collaboration:
Provide technical support to manufacturing, sales, and customer service. Collaborate with cross-functional teams (mechanical engineering, production, QA) for seamless product development and delivery, including troubleshooting electrical component issues.
Documentation:
Maintain accurate engineering documentation: design specifications, drawings, BOMs, and test procedures.
Required Qualifications
Education:
Diploma/Bachelor's/Masters degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering.
Experience:
1-3 years in electrical engineering, preferably with Electrical Equipments, resistors products.
Technical Skills:
Strong electrical engineering principles (circuit theory, electromagnetism, power electronics). Proficient in electrical CAD (e.g., AutoCAD Electrical, SolidWorks Electrical, Altium Designer) and simulation tools (e.g., SPICE, MATLAB/Simulink). Knowledge of power resistor types, applications, manufacturing, and industry standards (IEC, IEEE, IS).
Soft Skills:
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and collaboratively; detail-oriented and organized.
Preferred Qualifications
Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or related.
Experience with Electrical/power Equipments.
Knowledge of material science for resistive elements and insulation.
Familiarity with ERP/PLM systems.
