Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced

MEP Engineer

with a strong background in

site measurements

and

billing (BOQ preparation, cost estimation, invoicing)

for MEP (Mechanical, Electrical & Plumbing) systems. The engineer will be responsible for taking accurate measurements from all project sites, preparing quantity take-offs, verifying contractor bills, and coordinating with site teams to ensure timely and cost-effective project execution.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct physical site visits to take accurate measurements for mechanical, electrical, and plumbing works. Prepare detailed quantity take-offs and material requirements based on site measurements and project drawings. Draft and verify

Bills of Quantities (BOQs)

and cost estimates for MEP works. Prepare interim and final

payment bills/invoices

for contractors and subcontractors. Verify and certify contractors' bills against actual work done at the site. Maintain site records, measurement sheets, and billing logs for all ongoing projects. Coordinate with project managers, site supervisors, and contractors to resolve discrepancies between drawings and site execution. Ensure all MEP work billing is done in accordance with contract specifications and project timelines. Support procurement by providing accurate quantities and specifications. Monitor material usage and wastage to help control project costs. Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulatory codes during site visits.

Requirements:

Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical / Electrical Engineering or equivalent. 3+ years of experience in MEP engineering with site measurement and billing responsibilities. Strong knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing systems, and related codes and standards. Proficient in

AutoCAD

, MS Excel, and quantity estimation tools (e.g., Bluebeam, Plan Swift, or similar). Strong understanding of construction drawings and site execution practices. Ability to read, interpret, and reconcile drawings with site work. Excellent analytical and numerical skills. Strong communication and coordination skills. Willingness to travel to various project sites as needed.

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
