Job Description

Maintain and troubleshoot electrical systems for L&T machines used in surface mining and coal handling (e.g., wheel loaders, excavators, dumpers, stackers, reclaimers, conveyors). Conduct regular inspections, preventive maintenance, and repair activities to ensure continuous operation of electrical components. Diagnose faults in control panels, motors, wiring, PLCs, and electrical drives associated with mining and transportation equipment. Ensure compliance with safety and environmental standards for all electrical installations and maintenance activities. Prepare reports and maintain records of inspections, repairs, and preventive maintenance. Coordinate with mechanical and operations teams for effective equipment downtime management. Suggest and implement improvements to enhance the reliability and efficiency of equipment. Ensure inventory management of electrical spares and tools.
