Job Description

We are looking for Electrical Engineers who are responsible for overseeing and managing all electrical aspects of

civil construction projects,

ensuring that electrical systems are installed, tested, and commissioned as per design, safety standards, and project timelines.

Key Responsibilities

:

Project Planning & Coordination

Review and interpret electrical drawings, specifications, and design documents. Coordinate with consultants, architects, and other engineering disciplines. Plan and schedule electrical works in coordination with the construction program.

Site Execution & Supervision

Supervise electrical installations including wiring, lighting, panels, earthing, transformers, DG sets, etc. Ensure proper execution of electrical work as per drawings and standards. Monitor subcontractor activities and ensure quality workmanship.

Quality & Compliance

Ensure compliance with relevant codes (e.g., IS, IEC), safety standards, and statutory regulations. Conduct routine inspections and quality checks. Verify testing & commissioning of electrical systems.

Documentation & Reporting

Maintain daily site reports, material consumption logs, and progress reports. Prepare and maintain checklists, test reports, and as-built drawings. Raise RFIs (Requests for Information) and manage site instructions.

Team Management

Lead and guide junior engineers and electricians. Conduct technical training and safety briefings for the electrical team.

Procurement & Resource Management

Assist in material take-offs and BOQ preparation. Coordinate with the procurement team for timely delivery of electrical items.

Qualifications & Skills

:

Education

: B.E./B.Tech in Electrical Engineering

Experience

: Minimum 8-10 years in

electrical works related to civil construction projects (residential, commercial, or infrastructure).

Technical Skills

: Strong knowledge of HT/LT systems, lighting, earthing, cable sizing, load calculation, etc. Familiarity with AutoCAD, MS Project/Primavera, and MS Office. Experience in handling electrical safety audits and inspections.

Soft Skills

: Leadership, communication, problem-solving, and time management.
