Job Summary

The Electrical Site Engineer is responsible for overseeing and executing electrical works at the project site, ensuring that installations are carried out as per approved drawings, specifications, safety standards, and project timelines. The role involves coordination with clients, consultants, contractors, and internal teams to ensure smooth project execution.

Key Responsibilities

Supervise day-to-day electrical works at site including power, lighting, earthing, ELV, and allied systems. Ensure electrical installations are executed as per approved drawings, BOQ, and technical specifications. Coordinate with civil, interior, HVAC, plumbing, and fire-fighting teams to avoid site conflicts. Interpret electrical drawings, layouts, and schematics and guide technicians accordingly. Monitor site progress and ensure adherence to project schedules. Inspect materials received at site and ensure quality and quantity as per approved standards. Ensure compliance with electrical safety norms, statutory regulations, and company safety policies. Attend site meetings with clients, consultants, and contractors and provide technical inputs. Prepare daily site reports, work progress reports, and material requirement reports. Coordinate testing, commissioning, and handover of electrical systems. Identify and resolve site-related technical issues promptly. Supervise and manage electricians and subcontractors at site.
Qualifications

Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
Experience

2-5 years of experience in electrical site execution (commercial, residential, industrial, or interior projects). Experience in MEP projects will be an added advantage.
