Role Overview
We are looking for a
Site Engineer (Electrical)
to oversee and execute electrical project works at client sites in Kerala. The ideal candidate will ensure all site activities are carried out as per approved drawings, technical specifications, and project schedules while maintaining safety and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
Supervise and coordinate all on-site electrical works, including HT/LT installations, cable laying, panel erection, earthing, and lighting systems.
Interpret electrical drawings and ensure execution as per design and standards.
Plan day-to-day activities, allocate manpower, and coordinate with contractors and technicians.
Monitor material usage, verify quantities, and assist in site material requisitions.
Liaise with clients, consultants, and internal project teams for work progress and inspections.
Ensure strict adherence to electrical safety norms and company policies at the site.
Prepare daily/weekly progress reports and maintain site documentation.
Support testing and commissioning activities and ensure project handover within schedule.
Qualifications & Skills
Education:
Diploma or B.E/B.Tech in Electrical Engineering.
Experience:
2-5 years of hands-on site experience in electrical contracting or project execution.
Technical Skills:
Knowledge of HT/LT systems, switchgear, cabling, earthing, and lighting installations.
Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and SLDs.
Familiarity with IS/IEC standards and Kerala Electrical Inspectorate procedures.
Other Skills:
Strong site coordination and reporting ability.
Basic knowledge of MS Office and AutoCAD (preferred).
Leadership and communication skills to handle site teams effectively.
Willingness to travel and work at project sites as required.

Based in Kochi, with site assignments across Kerala (project-based).
