We are looking for an Electrical Engineer with experience in operation and maintenance of electrical systems in lime calcination or cement manufacturing plants. The ideal candidate should be skilled in troubleshooting HT/LT panels, motors, and control systems, ensuring uninterrupted power supply and safe, reliable plant operations through preventive and corrective maintenance practices.
Key Responsibilities:
Monitor and maintain electrical equipment such as HT/LT panels, transformers, motors, MCCs, and VFDs.
Ensure smooth operation of power distribution systems, motor controls, and lighting circuits across the plant.
Perform preventive, predictive, and breakdown maintenance of electrical systems and equipment.
Conduct routine inspections, insulation resistance testing, and thermography checks of electrical panels and cables.
Troubleshoot electrical faults, control circuit issues, and equipment breakdowns in kilns, grinding units, and material handling systems.
Ensure proper functioning and calibration of instrumentation such as load cells, temperature sensors, pressure transmitters, and flow meters.
Coordinate with mechanical and production teams to minimize downtime and support continuous operations.
Maintain electrical maintenance records, spares inventory, and ensure timely procurement of critical components.
Implement safety measures and ensure compliance with electrical safety standards and statutory requirements.
Assist in installation, commissioning, and upgradation of electrical equipment and control systems.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Diploma or B.E./B.Tech in Electrical Engineering.
2-4 years of experience in lime or cement manufacturing plants.
Hands-on experience in maintenance of HT/LT systems, motors, starters, transformers, and VFDs.
Good knowledge of power distribution, control wiring, PLC systems, and instrumentation.
Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings, single-line diagrams (SLDs), and control schematics.
Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills with a proactive maintenance approach.
Good understanding of safety procedures and compliance with electrical codes and standards.
