In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and testing electrical systems and components for [specific industry, e.g., renewable energy, manufacturing, or consumer electronics. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and in compliance with safety standards.
Key Responsibilities
System Design:
Develop detailed electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and layouts using AutoCAD Electrical or Altium Designer.
Testing & Validation:
Conduct performance and safety testing on electrical products and systems, troubleshooting issues to ensure reliability.
Project Management:
Manage project lifecycles, including budgeting, resource allocation, and scheduling to meet project milestones.
Regulatory Compliance:
Ensure all designs meet NEC, IEEE, or OSHA standards and international electrical codes.
Collaboration:
Work closely with mechanical engineers and software developers to integrate electrical components into broader systems.
Required Qualifications
Education:
Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering (BSEE) from an ABET-accredited institution.
Licensure:
Professional Engineer (PE) license is a major plus (required for Senior roles).
Technical Skills:
Proficiency in simulation tools like MATLAB/Simulink or PSpice.
Experience:
5 to 6 years of experience in [specific field, e.g., Power Systems, Electronics Design].
Soft Skills:
Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
